Oh no, Mr.Coelho, I respectfully beg to DIFFER. My humble desire for TODAY (please note “today” in caps, other days I don’t have such humble desires) was a humble one, of course. I didn’t desire riches, didn’t want world peace (don’t get me wrong, I do want it, but I’m usually used to hearing it from the beauty pageants), didn’t desire for some impossible. All I desired for was to be able to reach office by 10:30 AM.
Behold! how the world conspires against me. My mobile phone alarm, set for 8 :30( yes! I need an alarm to wake up at 8:30 AM! get over it..) gets muffled by the pillow and I wake up at 9 AM. I cheer myself up saying, it takes only 25 minutes from my place to office, even if I start at 10 AM, I should be able to make it. With that hope in my heart, I grab a brush; with a song in my heart, I grab the paste; and with a twirl, I turn the tap. “shhhh!” the tap said. NO WATER!!
So here I am, doing what I do always – blogging!!
P.S: for all the hopeless in the world “cheer up! When you want something, the whole Universe conspires to help you realize your desire”. That is the norm. This incident was just an exception to the rule!
