Christmas is all around. It is, but does everyone know the real meaning of Christmas? So I thought I should take up on my shoulders the burden to educate the masses. Its not about Santa Claus, gifts, trees and even holidays. Although, they are an important part of it , they are not the only things Christmas is all about. The most improtant part of it is God’s love for mankind. He loved us and showed it through God’s amazing gift to us – salvation, through Jesus, God’s son. This is the time when 2000 years ago God sent His only son, Jesus Christ, so that whomsoever believes in Him (Jesus) shall not perish but have eternal life.

So this is the time for you to show how much you love someone. Love is all around you. This Christmas, gift someone a warm smile, a loving word, a hug…., touch someone’s life and change the world, one person at a time.

2. Christmas tree : there are lots of story on how it became a custom. But I personally like this one. Martin Luther of Germany is credited with coming up with the idea after seeing the night stars through the branches of a pine tree on a walk home, and decorated a tree with his family with candles and silver and gold tinsel.

3. Cakes and sweets : Christmas is just an excuse to have them

4. Presents: It’s a time of giving just as God gave his only son for us.
